About
Mt. Elon Baptist is a small church nestled in the small community of Smith Creek, about twenty minutes outside of Sopchoppy, FL.
There are many ways to get involved with us here at Mt. Elon. We offer sunday school classes for all ages, including elementary, middle, high school/college, adult, seniors, and a nursery for pre-k and younger. We also have evening Bible study groups on Sunday and Wednesday nights.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

What We Believe
- The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man.
- There is only one living and true God.
- Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image.
- Salvation involved the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption of the believer.

- Due to renovations in our sanctuary, we are currently holding service in the fellowship hall. Follow the signs posted on the doors!
- The Women’s Ministry is holding a Diaper Drive for the Wakulla Pregnancy Center until April 12th. Sizes 4+ are preferred.
- Tea Time! There will be a Mother’s Day Tea Party on May 9th. RSVP to Mitzi Rye or Pam Abbot.
